Puffy Chalk Paint

Ingredients:

1 cup flour

1 cup water

1 tablespoon dish soap

Various colors of sidewalk chalk

Plastic squeeze bottles (recycled ketchup bottles work GREAT)

Cheese grater

Funnels

Directions:

1.      Mix 1 cup of flour with 1 cup of water. Mix until there are no lumps.

2.     Add 1 tablespoon of dish soap.

3.     Keep mixing until all the lumps are gone and the mixture is smooth.

4.     Grate the various colored chalk on the cheese grater. Set aside each color you grate. This will be used to mix in to each of the recycled squeeze bottles to create the various colors of puffy paint.

a.     You can either use separate colors with separate mixtures of flour and water OR you can mix all of the colors together.

b.     If chalk is not available, you can substitute this step with food coloring

5.     Grate ½ – 1 full stick of chalk and mix well to combine the color.

6.     Using a funnel, pour the mixture into a squeeze bottle. Repeat the steps until all color mixtures are in their bottles.

Create and enjoy!
